Telemedicine in Spain

What an online doctor can—and cannot—do

Telephone and video appointments are useful for many common, non-emergency problems, ongoing medication reviews and clinical advice. If examination, tests or emergency treatment are needed, the doctor will direct you to appropriate in-person care.

  • Telephone or video consultation
  • REMPe prescription by email when appropriate
  • Available to residents, expatriates and visitors
  • Not suitable for life-threatening emergencies
