Use the €25 repeat route
- You already take the medicine
- The condition and dose are stable
- You can provide evidence
- You have no new symptoms
For suitable medication you already take and can evidence. The doctor reviews the information and issues a REMPe e-prescription when clinically appropriate.
Prescription, box label or recent report.
Book and provide the medicine details.
Medicine, dose, interactions and safety are checked.
Use the emailed QR code at a pharmacy.
If regular medication has been lost, damaged or left at home, prepare evidence of the medicine and dose. The doctor can review whether a Spanish replacement prescription is safe and lawful.
Controlled medicines, specialist medicines, unusually high doses, missing evidence or new symptoms may require a full consultation or local specialist care. Approval and same-day issue are never guaranteed.
A previous prescription, specialist letter or labelled medicine packaging can establish treatment history. The doctor still decides whether a repeat is safe and lawful in Spain.
Up to four suitable established medicines can be submitted in one booking.
Normally no, unless clarification or consultation is required.
Controlled or sedating medicines are not automatically suitable and may require another route.
New or suspected infection needs medical assessment.
The REMPe QR prescription is designed for pharmacies in Spain.
A recent prescription, medical report or clearly labelled medicine packaging may help.
The doctor may request recent blood pressure, blood tests or a full consultation.
Dispensing remains subject to pharmacy checks, medicine availability and Spanish rules.
