Viagra helps the erectile response to sexual stimulation; it does not create sexual desire. Food can delay its effect. Follow the instructions for your prescribed product, and review an inadequate response rather than adding extra tablets.

Headache, flushing and indigestion can occur. Tell the clinician about side effects and all other medicines. Viagra must not be combined with nitrates or riociguat, and it is not appropriate when sexual activity is medically inadvisable.
