Missed dose
Take within 4 days. After more than 4 days, skip it and resume on the usual day.
Spacing
Do not double dose; the minimum time between doses is at least 3 days.

Can I obtain Mounjaro online?
Assessment can be remote, but prescription is issued only after suitability is confirmed.
How often is it taken?
Mounjaro is injected once weekly on the prescribed dose.
How long can an opened KwikPen be kept?

Can I change from Wegovy?
The doctor must review dose, timing, reason and tolerability.
Will the dose increase monthly?
Not automatically. It depends on response and side effects.

How soon can the dose increase from 2.5 mg?
The starting dose is normally continued for at least four weeks. Any increase depends on your prescription, response and side effects.
What side effects are most common?
Nausea, diarrhoea, constipation, vomiting and reduced appetite are commonly reported, especially when treatment starts or the dose changes.
Do I need blood tests before treatment?
Not everyone needs the same tests. The doctor decides from your medical history, current medicines and clinical risk factors.
Can Mounjaro be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
Mounjaro is not used during pregnancy. Pregnancy plans and breastfeeding must be discussed with the doctor before prescribing.
Where can I use the electronic prescription?
An approved REMPe prescription is emailed as a QR code for presentation at participating community pharmacies in Spain.
Does completing the assessment guarantee a prescription?
No. The assessment identifies whether treatment may be suitable, but the prescribing decision belongs to the reviewing doctor.
