Check the medicine and the date
Confirm whether the pen is Wegovy or Mounjaro, then count the full time since the scheduled injection. Do not assume both medicines follow the same rule.
Take or skip—never double
Use the correct window above. If the window has passed, skip the missed injection and return to the regular weekly schedule. Never inject two doses together.
Ask before restarting after a longer break
Tolerance can change after several missed doses. Contact the prescriber before restarting, especially if you were on a higher dose or previously experienced nausea, vomiting or other side effects.

Can I inject two doses together?
No. Never double a dose to compensate for a missed injection.
Can I move my weekly injection day?
Yes, if the minimum interval in the current leaflet is maintained: more than 72 hours between Wegovy doses and at least 3 days between Mounjaro doses.
What if I vomited after injecting?
The medicine was injected rather than swallowed, so do not repeat the dose. Contact a doctor if vomiting persists or you cannot maintain fluids.
What if I cannot remember whether I injected?
Do not inject again until you have checked your records and obtained advice from the prescriber or pharmacist.
What if six days have passed since my missed Wegovy dose?
Skip the missed Wegovy dose and take the next dose on the regular scheduled day.
What if five days have passed since my missed Mounjaro dose?
Skip the missed Mounjaro dose and take the next dose on the regular scheduled day.
What should I do after missing several weekly doses?

What if I miss a dose while travelling or changing time zones?
